Industrial oil I-5A

Industrial oil I-5A (GOST 20799-88) is a general-purpose oil that is distilled from selectively purified low-sulfur and sulfur-bearing crude oils.

It is used in various industries for lubricating commonly encountered light-duty, high-speed units and mechanisms, such as bearings and spindles of spinning and twisting machines, bearings of grinding wheel spindles on metalworking and other machines operating at rotational speeds of 15,000 to 35,000 rpm. These applications do not require special anti-oxidation and anti-corrosion properties of the oil. Additionally, I-5A oil is used for lubricating measuring instruments and other lightly loaded components. It is also used for fiber lubrication and in the production of oils, greases, rubbers, leather conditioning, pastes, mastics, window sealants, and more. Some industries utilize it as a working fluid for hydraulic systems in various construction machinery. It can be substituted with ILS-5 or I-8A oil.
